Hi everyone, my name is Minyi Tan! I am the Health and Education director for Students HEAL for the 2023-2024 year! I’m going into my junior year as a track 2 nursing student. My goal with this position is to create a supportive, engaging, and welcoming environment.
In my free time, I enjoy being active whether that be going to the ARC or being outdoors with friends. I also love discovering new cafe shops and trying out new lattes. I am most looking forward to learning more about Thai culture and advancing my own clinical skills. I am excited for this year and can’t wait to meet everyone! |
H&E Duties
- Prepare mini lectures to present during club meetings
- Coordinate with physician and interpreters in preparing health lectures to present while abroad
- Focus on sexual health education, disease prevention, disease management
- Organizes education materials: self breast exams, condoms and other contraceptive use
- Provides information on reproductive health
