Hi everyone! My name is Gillian Werolin and I’m a Track 2 Junior. I am originally from Folsom, California, although I am so excited to now get to call San Diego home. I am so honored and excited to get to represent HEAL this year as co-fundraising lead. In my free time I like to travel, try new restaurants, and hike! I am so thankful for the opportunity to learn so much about Thai culture and get an opportunity to help the Thailand healthcare system and its people. I can’t wait to make new memories and work with all of you this year!

Hey everyone! My name is Marisa O’Brien and I am absolutely thrilled to be a 2020-2021 SDSU Heal co-fundraising lead with Gillian! I’ve been raised in San Diego my entire life and am excited to pursue my nursing passion in the city I call home. I am currently a Track 2 Junior and can’t wait to get started on planning fundraising events for this upcoming brigade. If I’m not studying, I like spending quality time with my family, friends, and pets! Being able to help in this project abroad and immerse myself in a new culture is a unique opportunity of a lifetime. I am so delighted to be able to serve others and make a difference in their lives! I look forward to all the future hard work and dedication the team will be putting in and am very grateful to be able to play a part!
